“I think the position game really helped him,” Kiffin said. “He’s really more of a slot receiver, but we needed more help outside coming into the season so that’s where we were playing him early. We weren’t getting a lot of production from the slot, so that allowed him to get more jet sweep stuff. He really seized the opportunity.”

Old Dominion lined up and pushed around No.21 Virginia on Saturday night, opening holes in the nation’s No.16 run defense and spreading the ball among five receivers to take a 10-point lead into the locker room at Scott Stadium.
