Random Thoughts

• Can CUSA be a two bid league? If it is a two bid league who are the two? The obvious choices are WKU and MTSU, but could someone else sneak up? Yeah I think someone could. If WKU or MTSU continue to dominate CUSA its possible they can at large while maybe ODU or UAB steals the conference tourney.
• If you had to pick a player of the year in CUSA who is it? Jon Elmore at Marshall or Nick King at MTSU. Before his injury I could made an argument for Marshall’s C Ajdin Penava. I think for now I will lean towards UAB’s Chris Cokley.
• Do the additions of Josh Anderson and and Moustapha Diagne put WKU over the top of MTSU and everyone else? WKU was already playing at a high level, now Anderson is lighting it up and Diagne adds depth. I power ranked them at 1 for this reason.
• Who is the most dangerous middle tier team? LT, Marshall, UTSA, UNT, or USM? It may be unwise to group all those together, but for this I am. LT hasn’t play to the level of their talent so there is that. For me its Marshall and their ability to score. If Penava gets healthy down the stretch, that is a team I wouldn’t want to play.
