Random Thoughts

  • Lots of great matchups this week none better than MTSU at WKU and UAB at WKU. We are going to learn a lot in those games. Everyone is high on WKU, but can they survive this brutal week?
  • La Tech has a chance to finally get back on track. Games against North Texas and Southern Miss are winnable, but won’t be easy with the injury to DaQuan Bracey.
  • Speaking of North Texas just exactly how good is this team? I’m not sure what to think of their success. They beat Rice without playing AJ Lawson(injury) or Jorden Duffy(coaches decision).  They get 42 from Roosevelt Smart which I could see, but 23 from DJ Draper where did that come from? They are a very hard team to figure out.
  • Marshall gets Ajdin Penava back tonight. That’s huge for the Thundering Herd. They could make some serious moves this week with games against UAB and MTSU.
