Matt Craig does a good job delving into college basketball scheduling. There are some notes about CUSA and how it tried to be a part of the solution, and how that Flex scheduling actually helped the Herd a bit.

Players were understandably disappointed in their performance in a game in which they led 14-0, only to be pushed to the brink by an FCS team that was a four-touchdown underdog, on opening night at the new S.B. Ballard Stadium.

The first game in Bodie Reeder’s offense started out brightly: Fine threw a TD on his first pass of the game. He completed his first ten passes and seven of those went for either first downs or touchdowns.
