The last time they played, Javion Hamlet hit a controversial buzzer-beater to win it in Ruston. This time, he got another clutch bucket before DaQuan Bracey hit an off-hand floater over the top of the defense with 1.4 seconds left to win it.
In Bowling Green, Jordan Shepherd hit a runner going right to put the Niners up over WKU on the road. The last time these two teams met, WKU dominated from start to finish.
Last year ODU got some clutch buckets (Ahmad Caver’s huge three vs Tech) in some close games to win things. We all love some late game drama. Here is hoping we get a little of this in the final portion of the regular season and it continues into Frisco.
