This blog once wrote a post entitled “WKU Is The Best Team In CUSA” and both the men’s and women’s teams have a chance to prove that this afternoon and evening.
The Men take on Marshall in the marquee matchup of the evening and the women play number 1-seeded UAB in just short of a half-hour. It is an incredible achievement and one recognized by the increased number of red-clad travelers to Frisco in the last couple of days. Justin Johnson said he expected there to “be more red” in the stands for the championship game and we will see.

Who’s ready for a twofer? Both the Lady Tops and Hilltoppers have survived and advanced their way into their respective C-USA title games, and we should be treated to two fantastic games of basketball.
